Thunder to host kickball tournament

ROCKFORD - The Rockford Thunder announced today that it would host a two division kickball tournament on Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5 at Thunder Park in Roscoe.
KICKBALL TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION FORM
The cost per team is $95 and that includes 10 tickets to a future Rockford Thunder game at the new ballpark in Roscoe. For the $95, each team will play a guaranteed three games and teams will receive discounts on all Bud Light, Budweiser and Miller Lite bottles.
The tournament will feature two different age divisions. There will be a 21 and under division, as well as a 21 and over age division. Each team must have at least nine players on the roster and each team must have at least two females on the field at all times.
The Thunder will donate 5% of the entry money collected to the Special Olympics of Illinois.
Teams can register for the tournament by calling the Thunder office at (815) 965-7000 or by downloading the form from the Thunder website at www.thunderprofastpitch.com/community. Each division will be open to the first 36 teams.
