Thunder Taking NYC by Storm

December 1, 2009 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release


New York City, NY. The ABA New York City Thunder professional basketball team has taken NYC and the ABA by storm. Owner and Head Coach Michael Logan has put together an unprecedented team of college standouts, international players and street ball greats like Marvin McCullough (Iona), Cyle Cuff (St. Johns), Tim Gittens and Chris Grant, both AND1 standouts, just to name a few. And also returning to the team is Sean Dazzler who broke an ABA playoff record with 13-3 pointers last season. According to Coach Logan, "This team has amazing chemistry and depth and our goal is to win it all or at least go deep into the playoffs. So, be forewarned, the NYC Thunder is going to cause a lightening storm throughout the league. As the rapper Jay-Z said, "We are from New York, the place where dreams are made of."

Malik McCullough, 6' shooting guard

Cyle Cuff, 6'10 center
