Thunder announces remainder of off season clinics

ROCKFORD - The Rockford Thunder announced four more clinics that they would host between December and February, including a pitching clinic on Sunday, Dec. 7 with Thunder and Olympic pitcher Cat Osterman.
In addition to the December pitching clinic, the Thunder announced that it would hold a catching clinic with Jamie Davison and new manager Jim Sherwood on Saturday, December 13. An overnight clinic is scheduled for January 17-18 and a coach's clinic w/ a player skills clinic is scheduled for February 8.
The Thunder also put a registration form online for the 2009 Spring Open Tryout which will be held at the new Thunder Park in Roscoe on May 9-10.

-Please note: Athletes, including those with eligibility remaining, are allowed to participate in a professional sports tryout. However, those athletes with eligibility remaining are not allowed to compete against professional athletes or receive any additional benefits. Those players that have exhausted their eligibility are welcome to tryout at anytime without the rist of losing amateur status.
