
Thunder Announce Promotions for Friday Night

July 8, 2009 - ROSCOE - The Thunder will host Breast Cancer Awareness Night on Friday, July 10 when the Bandits come to Roscoe for a doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 p.m.
The two teams will play a doubleheader due to Wednesday night's game being postponed due to rain. Any person that has bought tickets for Wednesday night can redeem them at the box office for any remaining game on the 2009 schedule.
Friday night's doubleheader will feature the following promotions and events:
1. Some player's will wear pink Ringor cleats that will be auctioned off during the game with proceeds benefitting the OSF Foundation and Center for Cancer Care. The player's that will wear the pink cleats are: Allison Kime, Cassidy Scoggins, Lyndsey Angus, Chelsea Spencer, Chelsie Mesa, Laurie Wagner and Samantha Sheeley.
2. Pink Worth batting helmets worn during the game will also be auctioned off
3. Megan Willis Poster Giveaway
4. ½ price Bud and Bud Light draft beers and $3 bottles
5. Other giveaway items include pink eye black and masks courtesy of EMask and pink backpacks and headbands courtesy of Ringor.
Tickets to both games start at just $7 for general admission and $10 for bleacher seats. Tickets can be purchased at the box office prior to the game, by calling the office or by visiting www.etix.com.
