ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Any softball player looking to improve their skills, here is your chance. The Philadelphia Force and Ripken Baseball are teaming up to host a three day softball camp at the Ripken Academy in Aberdeen, Maryland. The camp which is scheduled to run from August 9th-11th is open to all athletes ages 7-15.

Headlining this year's camp coaching staff will be the Force's own Jami Lobpries.

"I'm very excited to be a part of our first annual Ripken Baseball and Philadelphia Force softball clinic. This camp will be a great opportunity for young softball players to develop their skills in every facet of the game by learning under an elite staff of current members of the Philadelphia Force," said Lobpries.

She is joined by fellow teammates Savannah Brown and Jessica Sallinger. The Philadelphia Force will announce other instructors in the short upcoming weeks.

"We are nothing but thrilled to be partnering with Ripken Baseball. My roots with the NPF started with Ripken in 2005 as a softball instructor with the NPF's now former NY/NJ Juggernaut. We are thrilled to help revitalize the softball program with Ripken to build an even bigger audience to the professional softball world. These young athletes will get the chance of a lifetime to work with the best athletes in the country," said Erin Statmore, Assistant General Manager of the Philadelphia Force.

As a camper you will receive proper instruction to enhance your entire game, and have the opportunity to work side by side with professional athletes who hail from some of the top college programs across the nation. This camp staff has played with and against some of the top softball players in the country and has developed knowledgeable experience along the way.

Lobpries also stated, "It is our goal as players in the NPF not only to give back to local communities, but also to inspire young girls to work hard towards reaching their goal of playing softball at the highest level."

The cost for this year's camp is $350 for all three days, and fans can register for the camp by calling 610-841-SOFT (7638) or by going to the Philadelphia Force website at http://www.philadelphiaforce.com.
