July 29, 2015 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Portland Thunder News Release

PORTLAND - The Portland Thunder are set to host 'Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Aaron's' at their final home game of the 2015 AFL schedule, this Saturday night against the Las Vegas Outlaws, from Moda Center. Kickoff is set for 7:00pm.

Nearing the end of their second successful home schedule, the Thunder have seen 146,282 fans pass through the turnstiles at Moda Center to enjoy Arena Football League action.

"I appreciate their passion and exuberance for the team," head coach Mike Hohensee says of the growing Thunder fan base. "They are knowledgeable about the players. They follow on TV, radio, internet, however they can. I am consistently taken aback and thankful by how they make our players feel like superstars."

The first 1500 fans in attendance will receive a Thunder Jersey T-shirt, courtesy of Aaron's, Les Schwab, HomeMasters, 750AM THE GAME, Standard TV & Appliance, and Emmert International. The red shirt, with white numbers and blue accents, features the "9th Man" moniker across the back name plate.

Additional Thunder merchandise will be available at clearance pricings through the 'Aaron's Blowout Sale', at the stand outside entrance A-25 on the main concourse.

All fans are encouraged to take part in the 'Sleep Train Foster Kids School Supply Drive, supported by Les Schwab', supporting local fostered youth heading back to school this fall. Simply bring a donation of schools supplies to the Sleep Train booth on the Moda Center Plaza to receive half off your admission to that evening's game.

Portland State Football Head Coach Bruce Barnum will also be on hand to deliver the game ball prior to the coin toss.
