(Nashua, NH, March 9, 2006) - Nashua Pride team officials announced today that James Lofton, Sean Dobson and Andy Dillard have all signed contracts for this upcoming season.

Lofton will be playing in his fourth season as a member of the Pride as he also competed for Nashua during the 2000, 2003 and 2004 seasons. The Los Angeles, CA native was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 13th round of the 1993 amateur draft. He spent six years in the Reds organization playing for Princeton, Billings, Winston-Salem, Charleston and Burlington. In 1994, he hit .323 with a .475 slugging percentage in 66 games for the Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer League. The switch hitting outfielder had three productive years with the Tri-City Posse of the Western Baseball League and hit .303 in the 2000 season. The following year, Lofton was signed by the Boston Red Sox and hit .315 for the Double-A Trenton Thunder of the Eastern League in 2001.

The St. Louis Cardinals selected Sean Dobson in the 40th round of the 2004 draft. He played outfield for the New Jersey Cardinals for two seasons in the New York-Penn League and has a career .271 batting average in 110 minor league games.

Dillard played for Delta State University and hit for a .425 average with a .490 on base percentage for the NCAA Division II school during the 2002 season. The Chicago, Illinois native played third base and shortstop and looks to bring a heavy bat to the Pride's lineup this summer.

The Nashua Pride, entering their first year of play in the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball, play their home games at Historic Holman Stadium. Prior to joining the Can-Am League, the Pride played for eight seasons in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, winning the 2000 Atlantic League championship.
