Thompson Placed on Injured List; Johns Kimbrough Activated

HOUSTON â The Houston Comets announced today that the team has placed forward Tina Thompson on the injured list with a severe left calf strain. Thompson, who is expected to be out of action for 10 days, suffered the calf injury at the end of the second half of Houston's 69-66 overtime win at San Antonio on June 12. The Comets also activated center/forward Pollyanna Johns Kimbrough from the injured list.
