PORTLAND, April 19, 2009 - The Portland LumberJax have two school appearances ahead this week. On Tuesday, April 21st, members of the team will be at Harvey Scott Elementary School from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. As part of Pacific Power's School Program, the organization makes countless visits to local Oregon schools. The school program promotes the importance of a healthy lifestyle, provides lacrosse instruction, offers well-liked demonstrations and the viewing of the hit Jax School Program DVD.

The Jax return to Harvey Scott on Wednesday, April 22nd to present the School Program from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Portland (9-7) hosts the San Jose Stealth in a West Division Semifinal playoff game on Friday, May 1st at 7:30 p.m. at the Rose Garden Arena. Tickets start at just $10, but the arena is filling fast. Seats can be reserved by calling the Jax Ticket Line at 1-866-983-5656, at the Rose Quarter Box Office or through most TicketsWest Outlets.

Season ticket holders are already guaranteed seats to the San Jose game as a result of their season ticket packages. New season ticket holders who put down a non-refundable deposit for the 2010 season will receive one FREE playoff ticket per season ticket purchased.
