Thirteen Players Join Fargo Force

FARGO, ND: Three area players are among 13 drafted today to the Fargo Force, the new USHL hockey team which will begin its season in the Fall of 2008.

They are: Nick Schaefer, forward, Red River High School, Jarret Galbreath, defense, Red River High School, and Chad Demers, forward, Grafton-Park River High School.

Other players are: Gavin Hartzog, forward, Marquette University High School; Johnnie Searfoss, forward, Texas Tornado (NAHL); Chase Grant, forward, Dallas Stars AAA; Cory Leiverman, forward, Mankato West High School; Tom McCarthy, defense, Benilde St. Margaret's; Shane McColgan, forward, LA Kings U-18; Colton St. Claire, forward, P.F. Chang's; Eamonn McDermott, defense, Cleveland Barons; Cole Gunner, forward, Richfield High School; Cory Thorson, forward, Armstrong High School.

The Fargo Forceʼs home arena will be the Urban Plains Center in south Fargo. The Center is currently under construction.

Season tickets are available for the inagural season. A $99 deposit per seat is required. Season tickets are $395 for 30 games.
