Rochester, NY - The Rochester Rhinos are pleased to announce the next two players selected by Team Andracki and Team Demmin for the Rhinos Legends Game on Saturday, June 27th at Sahlen's Stadium. Joining Team Andracki is Billy Sedgewick ("˜99-05) and joining Team Demmin is Scott Schweitzer ('98-03).

Joining Team Demmin is Scott Schweitzer. Schweitzer is a notable name in the Rochester Rhinos history books as he ranks second in Games Played, Games Started, and Minutes Played. His aggressive style of play also lead him to rank 5th All-Time in fouls. Furthermore, Schweitzer has started the most US Open Cup games in Rhinos history. During his time with the Rhinos, Scott helped the franchise to three league championships (1998, 2000, 2001) and one US Open Cup title (1999). His play helped him garner individual accolades as he was named to first team s four times and was twice named the Defender of the Year. In 2014, Scott Schweitzer was inducted into the Rochester Rhinos Hall of Fame.

Since his time with the Rhinos, Scott has focused his time on coaching and his family life. Scott coached a few years professionally before realizing he'd rather work with children. He runs a soccer academy in Raleigh, NC with over 500 full-time players. "Most importantly, I have a 6-year old daughter, Emi. She is the greatest and I love being her dad. I am also a husband to my wife, Kirsten. My family is the most important thing in the world, so every day I try to be a better father and husband."

"My favorite experience with the Rhinos was my entire time there. I loved being part of the team/family that we had built. I loved the city and the people; I never considered them fans just another part of the Rhinos. I loved winning the games and championships. I felt like we were building the sport. We were as important and relevant as the MLS to making soccer become what it is in the United States. There is not one experience because everything that went on in Rochester encompassed each other and each experience fed into each other to make the entire time there the most special experience," Schweitzer said.

Billy Sedgewick, the next pick for Team Andracki, had an illustrious career with the Rhinos as he ranks 4th in games played and games started on the Rhinos All-Time records. Sedgewick had the ability to play both defender and midfielder and was a very important member of championship squads in 1999 (US Open Cup), 2000 and 2001 (USL A-League Champions). Since his time with the Rhinos, Sedgewick has played for numerous indoor soccer teams across the nation as well as a short loan stint with the Montreal Impact in 2006. He also served as an assistant coach for the Rhinos for three years (two years under Lilley and one year under Myers). He has since moved back to Montreal to be with family and is currently serving as a technical director and head coach of a semi-pro team for a youth club.

"Winning and assisting on the game winning goal to win the 1999 US Open Cup and the two A-League championships in 2000 and 2001. Those are my most memorable moments. My connection to the Rochester community was massively important as well," Sedgewick said.
