Third base Sports Bar hosts Austin Wranglers Weekly Press Briefings

AUSTIN-The Austin Wranglers will hold their weekly press briefing at Third Base Sports Bar this Tuesday at 2 p.m. Third Base, located at 1717 West 6th Street in Austin, will provide heavy appetizers and a choice of soda, ice tea, or water, for the media in attendance.
On Tuesday, April 8, Wranglers Head Coach Ben Bennett will address the media at Third Base and answer questions about Saturday's 75-41 loss to the af2's Lubbock Renegades. Coach Bennett will also preview this Saturday's contest again the Amarillo Dusters, which will take place at the Amarillo Civic Center, beginning at 7:10 p.m.
Former Wranglers special teams coordinator and wide receivers coach, Chris MacKeown, who was on Brian Partlow's staff in Austin during the 2007 AFL season, now coaches Amarillo.
Joining Coach Bennett at the press briefing will be defensive lineman Kika Kaululaau and defensive back Ricky Williams. Kaululaau led all defenders with four tackles, two tackles for a loss of five yards, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery against Lubbock.
Williams, playing as the middle safety for the Wranglers against the Renegades, tallied two tackles and one pass break-up in just his second Arena Football game.
