Florence Y'alls News Release
FLORENCE, KY - The Florence Freedom want fans to think in twos on Tuesdays this summer. Margaritas will be specially priced at $2 and tacos will be two for one.
The Bank of Kentucky will be the presenting sponsor on all Tuesday nights as we bring back "Tuesdays for a Cause" where different area charities will be supported on select dates.
The Freedom will be home on seven Tuesdays in total with the first being on June 2 for Barack Obama bobblehead and Southwest Ohio League night. The first 1,000 fans sporting "Freedom Wear" will receive a bobblehead. An added bonus is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Custom Car Show that evening at no extra cost.
Tuesday, June 16, the Knothole League has their night at the ballpark.
Get wet and wild on July 21 for our second day game with a 'Super Splash Day!' First pitch is at 11:05.
July 28 is 'Turn Back the Clock' night with the Freedom auctioning off jerseys after the game. Proceeds of the jersey auction will go to support the American Red Cross Cincinnati Chapter.
One of minor league baseball's best acts, 'Reggy the Purple Party Dude' invades Champion Window Field on Tuesday, August 4.
Vintage Business Solutions sponsors the 2009 Florence Freedom team photo giveaway on August 18. It is also "Guarantee a Win Night." The Freedom guarantee a win or fans can use their ticket stub for any remaining Sunday-Wednesday game!
The final Tuesday at Champion Window Field will be 'Striking Out Cancer Night' which will include a jersey auction. Area businesses have the opportunity to sponsor tickets that will be given to Northern Kentucky cancer survivors. Then in a sign of strength and perseverance, the cancer survivors will all come down onto the field to be honored. Proceeds will be used to support local cancer charities.
The Freedom open their season on Wednesday, May 20. Single game tickets and ticket packages are on sale now. Call the Freedom at (859) 594-HITS or visit FlorenceFreedom.com.
