Albuquerque, NM - New Mexico United and Western Sky Community Care - in an effort to promote COVID-19 vaccination in New Mexico - have announced the "Get a shot, get a ticket" initiative. Any fan who receives their first vaccination beginning on April 13th will receive two Western Sky Community Corner tickets to otherwise sold out New Mexico United matches, while supplies last.

"Our community and their safety and well-being will always be at the forefront of everything we do," said Somos Unidos Foundation Executive Director Chanel Wiese. "We are so grateful to Western Sky Community Care for their partnership and willingness to work together to create positive outcomes for our state. We hope that this initiative will encourage members of our community to take the next step towards health and safety."

Fans who do not live in the Albuquerque area can send a photo of their vaccination card to community@newmexicoutd.com and will receive their tickets via email. Fans who have been vaccinated prior to April 13th are not eligible, as this initiative is in an effort to promote vaccinations for those who otherwise might not attain one.

Throughout New Mexico United's existence, the Western Sky Community Corner has held tickets to every match for community members who otherwise might not have access. New Mexico United, the Somos Unidos Foundation and Western Sky Community Care are committed to promoting equity and inclusion in soccer and our community.
