The Schooners jumped out to an early lead immediately in the first thanks to an Eddie Micheletti RBI. Mystic added four more runs in the third off a Kevin Ferrer (Connecticut) and Mason LaPlante single (Yale), along with a Michael Bello (Auburn) double. The away team tacked on their final run of the fame in the fifth through another Mason LaPlante RBI.
Mystic's Kevin Ferrer led all batters with three hits while Mason LaPlante ended the night with two hits. North Shore's Jake McElroy (Holy Cross) added the only knock of the night for the Navigators.

Nighthawks' pitcher Tyler Legere (Lipscomb) helped get the Mountaineers off the field in the eighth with two strikeouts, but it was no use as the Mountaineers continued their shut out and added three more to end the game 14-0.
