NEXT GAME... The Fire will head to Youngstown, OH on Derby night for a match-up with the Mahoning Valley Thunder. This will be the first time the Fire has played the expansion Thunder (3-1). The Thunder will visit Freedom Hall on July 7 at 7:00 P.M. This weekend's game will kick-off at 7:05 and can be heard at louisvillefirefootball.com or 1080-AM WKJK.
MILITARY NIGHT... The Fire will host all active and retired military personnel at the next home game on May 19 by giving them free tickets with their military I.D. Anyone wishing to secure tickets may call the Fire office at 368-0009. The Fire will take on the Alabama Steeldogs at 7:00 P.M. in Freedom Hall. The Fire will also be giving away Bob Valvano and Will Wolford bobbleheads and Bob Valvano will be attempting an extra point with Will snapping the ball.
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS WITH GIFTS... Fire fans now is your chance to help our troops over seas and receive $2 off a ticket on game night May 19. Fans can bring any of the following items to the Freedom Hall box office on May 19 and receive $2 off single game admission at the ticket window, gum and hard candy (must be wrapped), beef jerky, granola bars or baby wipes. Bins will be available to drop the items in front of the ticket windows.
JOIN THE WAGGIN' TRAIL... The Fire has entered a walk team for the Kentucky Humane Society's annual Waggin' Trail 5K walk on May 19 at Seneca Park at 9:00 A.M. JOIN THE TEAM FOR DINNER... Each week the Fire will be out eating dinner after practice and you can join the team for autographs and pictures. The Fire will be at CiCi's Pizza in McMahan Plaza on Tuesdays at 8:30, Shoney's on Eastern Parkway Wednesday's at 8:30 and Hometown Buffett on Blakenbaker Thursday's at 7:30.
FIRE IN THE AFL... The Fire currently has four former players in the AFL on active rosters and one former coach. Last week Brett Dietz came in for an injured Shane Stafford and led the Storm to victory of Will Rabatin's Columbus Destroyers. Rob Mager caught six passes for 86 yards and a touchdown in Chicago's 54-43 victory over Philadelphia. Listed below are each person's team and their 2007 record:

FREE WINGS... If the Fire scores 45 points or more at every home game Fire fans can redeem their tickets stub at Buffalo Wild Wings for five (5) free wings. Fans can redeem their ticket at the Springhurst, Dixie Highway, Bardstown Rd., or St. Matthews Buffalo Wild Wings locations. Tickets must be redeemed be the Monday after the game.
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL AND WINGS... The Fire will be at various Buffalo Wild Wings locations throughout 2007 watching the AFL on ESPN each week. Come join the Fire players and Wildfires and enjoy the game each Monday at Buffalo Wild Wings starting at 7:30. The schedule for 2007 is listed below:
