ROOKIE CAMPAIGN... Former Fire OL/DL Jonta Woodard was recently named runner-up for rookie of the year in the CFL. Jonta helped lead the Hamilton Tigercats to the Grey Cup playoffs this past season.
RENEWALS... Fire fans who had season tickets in 2004 and have not yet renewed should have received a renewal letter in the mail last week. Don't forget the renewal deadline is January 1 to reserve the same seats you had last season. If you did not receive the letter reply to the Fire Wire and we will get one out to you.
CONGRATS... To the four Kentucky High schools who won state championships in football last weekend. In Class-A Beechwood High School took home the title. In Class-AA Belfry won their second straight state championship. In AAA Ft. Thomas Highlands defeated Boyle County. Last but not least Will Wolford's St. X Tigers won the AAAA title defeating Scott County.
