NEW SEASON TICKET HOLDER BENEFITS ANNOUNCED... In addition to free parking at regular season games and 10 % off of Fire merchandise your season ticket holder card is now good for $1 concession items this season. This year season ticket holders can present their season ticket holder card for the following concession discounts at every home game: $1 Popcorn, $1 Pepsi, $1 Hot dogs, $1 Bud and Bud Light (limit two per ticket stub).

All of the concession discounts are good from the time doors open until the end of the 1st quarter. You can also take your season ticket holder card to any Shoe Carnival location and receive a 20% discount on all purchases. If you have paid for your tickets and were unable to pick them up on Sunday you will receive them in the mail this week. If you have not paid you must do so before your tickets will be mailed out. If you haven't ordered your tickets for 2004 you can do so by calling (502) 368-0009.

17 DAYS UNTIL OPENING NIGHT... The Fire will kick-off the 2004 season in just 17 days against the Hawaiian Islanders. We will be giving away Thunderstix courtesy of CHA Health. Proceeds from Opening Night will also benefit Kosair Charities. You can still get your season tickets by calling (502) 368-0009.

FIRE FANS WE NEED A SONG... Hey Fire Fans it's time for you to voice your opinion. We are looking for a song to play during introductions and we want you to decide. If you have a song you like let us know by next Tuesday and we will put the top suggestions to a vote in the Fire Wire.

FIRE DEFEATS WARRIORS... The Fire played a hard fought contest against the Samurai Warriors on Sunday night winning the game 36-26. Former U of L standout Zeke Parker caught two touchdown passes in the game. Fire OL/DL Derrick Sheppard led the way on the line with two blocked field goals. The Fire will open the 2004 regular season on April 10 against Hawaii at 7:30 in Freedom Hall.

AXE AT THE FIREBIRDS GAME... This Friday night AXE will make a special appearance at the Indiana Firebirds home game against Grand Rapids. AXE will be playing in a football game with other mascots from the region against a youth football team. The game will kick-off at 7:30, if you would like to order tickets for the game call the Firebirds at 317-472-8080.
