The Story:

Orlando City returns to MLS play Saturday night in the Walmart Saturday Showdown at Inter.co Stadium. The Lions will face off against FC Cincinnati and wear the Orlando Original kit for the first time. Part of the 2026 adidas Archive Collection, the new third kit celebrates the City Beautiful's soccer history with a red colorway inspired by the kit worn by Orlando City's 2011 USL Pro championship-winning team, a Lions wordmark honoring Orlando's first professional soccer club and design elements tied to the 1994 FIFA World Cup.

Forward Daryl Dike marked a milestone moment in Orlando City's final Leagues Cup Phase One match, scoring his first goal since returning to the Club in the Lions' 2-2 draw against Atlético de San Luis. The strike was Dike's 20th across all competitions for Orlando City, moving him within one goal of tying former Lion Tesho Akindele for 10th place on the Club's all-time scoring list.

Homegrown forward Justin Ellis continued his strong 2026 campaign against Atlético de San Luis, entering in the 59th minute and heading home a Tiago cross 10 minutes later. The goal was Ellis' third across all competitions for the Lions and his ninth goal contribution, adding to a breakout year for the Academy product. Current Form:
