Texas Thunder to Host League City/Galveston Night with the Thunder

HOUSTON - The Texas Thunder announced today that they would host League City/Galveston Night on Thursday, June 22, 2006 when the Thunder host Arizona at 7:05 p.m., as announced today by general manager Aaron M. Moore.

League City/Galveston Night with the Thunder is the first planned theme night of the season for the Thunder. The team will host nights such as the Girl Scouts Night and Youth Group Night throughout the remainder of the 2006 season.

For this game all League City and Galveston residents will receive a special buy one general admission, get a second general admission ticket for just $3.50. In order to receive the discount, patrons must show valid proof of residence (utility bill, driver's license, registration, etc.) in one of the two cities. Reserved and VIP seating will remain regular price at $10 and $15 per person.

The game with Arizona is the first of a 12-game homestand for the Thunder. During this stretch Texas will host the Arizona Heat, Philadelphia Force and the Connecticut Brakettes. All games, except two, will be played in League City at the Big League Dreams Sports Complex. The June 23 and 24 games with Arizona will be played in Spring, Texas at Collins Park.
