Texas Revolution News Release
Revs Destroy Wichita
The Texas Revolution move to 4-2 in CIF action after taking down the Wichita Force 48-21 inside the Allen Event Center.
Having a sluggish start offensively the REvs only put 7 points up in the first quarter but still held the lead 7-3. With Robert Kent (18-24) throwing 2 picks in the first half the Revs defense still held strong providing great opportunities for the efficient offensive unit.
Going into half up 25-6 on the Force, Texas got after big time defensive end Matt Moss and got him to jump the gun a few times giving penalty yardage to the Revs who cut down the miscues only having 7 for 51 yards.
Not letting off the gas, the Revs cruised in the second half fueling the fire of Wichita who had a player (Elbert Mack) ejected.
With the victory, the Revolution look forward to visiting the winless San Angelo Bandits this coming Saturday night and returning back to the Allen Event Center April 24.
