
Texarkana Twins Bring in Strong Starting Pitcher and Reliever

Texarkana, USA - The Texarkana Twins have two pitchers signed for the 2019 season in reliever from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Ross Baer and starter from Texas A&M Kingsville Matt Sesler.
Ross Baer, who is from Spring, TX, is a sophomore at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Is a 6-1 190, right-handed pitcher that had a successful sophomore campaign. Ross will be used as a reliever for the Twins during the 2019 season. Baer had 43 strikeouts in 41.1 innings pitched. While at Northland Christian School Baer was named to the All-District team two times.
Matt Sesler from Harlingen TX, who is a freshman at Texas A&M Kingsville. During his freshman year, he had a 3.07 era, had over one strikeout per inning, strikeouts per nine innings is 10.14. Sesler was named to the first team All-district Team in baseball and basketball at Harlingen Highschool. Sesler will be a starter during the 2019 campaign.
Sesler and Baer should be big for us as pitchers this year. Bringing some depth to our pitching core, and a strong reliever to bring to close out games.
