Terrance Bryant to Lead Storm Offense Again in 2006

The 2005 National Champions of United Indoor Football (UIF), Sioux Falls Storm, is pleased to announce the re-signing of quarterback, Terrance Bryant. Bryant, 6'2, 215 lbs. out of Oregon State University, will return for his second season under center for the Storm. In 2005 Terrance threw for 1,938 yards on 184 completions out of 288 attempts. That 63.9% completion percentage placed Bryant 1st in the UIF among quarterbacks. He threw for 30 touchdowns compared to 10 interceptions and rushed for another 142 yards on the season with 5 rushing touchdowns. Under Bryant's direction, the Storm offense was 2nd overall in the UIF in passing yards per game with 149.1 and 3rd in the UIF in scoring offense at 47.2 points per game.

Terrance really shined in the United Bowl I against Sioux City. In the Championship game alone, Bryant went 17 of 25 passing for 123 yards and 3 touchdown passes. He also rushed the ball 9 times for 66 yards and another 2 touchdowns running.

"Terrance really came on in the second half of the season last year and really started understanding his role with our offense. He will lead our offense and team again this season as we work to defend our title in 2006," says head coach, Kurtiss Riggs.

The 2006 season kicks off for the Storm on Friday, March 24 when the Storm travels to Omaha, Nebraska to take on the Omaha Beef. The home opener for the Storm will be Saturday, April 8 with a "Championship Re-Match" as the Sioux City Bandits enter the Sioux Falls Arena.
