Toledo Royal Knights News Release

Toledo, OH. The ABA Toledo Ice professional basketball team announced today that they will hold a special Katrina Relief Golf Outing on Saturday, September 24th with the proceeds from the outing going to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. "We had planned this event months ago, but hadn't decided to which cause we would make the donation," said Mike Purdue of the Ice. "Helping the many now homeless down south seemed the right thing to do. And, upon hearing of the Ice's desire to help the victims, many sponsors are now coming aboard to help with the cause. If you enjoy golf and your want to do something really special on the 24th - grab your clubs and come on out."
