
Team USA series just eight days away

HOUSTON - The Texas Thunder of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) will host the U.S. National Team Friday, July 28 through Sunday, July 30 for a four-game series, in what may be the national team's final appearance in Houston.
Tickets for the four games are available by contacting the Thunder office at (281) 403-2475 or by sending an email to Aaron M. Moore at amoore@thunderprofastpitch.com. Ticket prices range from $15 for general admission tickets to $25 for VIP (indoor seating). Reserved seats are also available for $20 per seat, but reserved seats for Friday and Saturday night's games have sold out. There are still plenty of VIP and General Admission Tickets available.
Special group discounts are also available for groups of 20 or more by contacting the Thunder office in advance.

The games will be a homecoming of sorts for several players on the National Team. Amanda Freed, who has been on the Thunder roster for the last two seasons, will return to Texas for the first time since the end of June. One of the biggest names to be returning to Texas will be Cat Osterman. Osterman, who is from nearby Spring, Texas, played her college ball at the University of Texas where she a four-time All-American. She most recently won an ESPY Award as the Top Female College Athlete.
Team USA will be heading to Houston after a very successful week in Oklahoma City. The National Team won the II World Cup of Softball by defeating Japan in the championship game on Monday night.
Texas will return to action at Big League Dreams on Thursday, July 20 at 7:05 p.m. for game two of a four-game set with the Akron Racers. All general admission tickets will be buy two, get one free for Thursday night's game.
