Team-Building Is Key for Monsters' Season Opener Wednesday

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Monsters players participated in a team-building exercise Friday at Fresno State's E.D.G.E. ropes course challenge to help prepare for the team's first regular season road games this week. The Monsters left Saturday for a 4-game road trip in the North American Hockey League Showcase beginning this Wednesday, September 15th in Blaine, Minnesota versus the defending national champion Bismarck Bobcats at 11:30AM P.S.T.

"Team unity and chemistry are items I believe are critical to a team's success," explains GM/Head Coach Eric Ballard.

The Monsters will also play Thursday at 6:15PM against the Amarillo Bulls, Friday at 5:45PM against St. Louis Bandits, and Saturday at 2:00PM against the Springfield Jr. Blues. All times are P.S.T. All games will be broadcasted online for a fee at www.nahl.fasthockey.com.

The Fresno Monsters' home opener is on Friday, October 22nd at 7:35pm against the Wenatchee Wild. Season tickets are on sale now at the Fresno Monsters office.
