
Taylor Named AFL MVP for Week 19

LAS VEGAS - Cleveland Gladiators wide receiver Collin Taylor has been voted AFL MVP for Week 19 of the 2015 Arena Football League season.
Taylor (6-1, 200, Indiana) led the Gladiators with nine receptions for 142 yards and five touchdowns in the team's playoff-clinching 59-42 victory over the Spokane Shock in Week 19. The fifth-year pro has caught at least one touchdown pass in 14 straight games and multiple touchdown receptions in each of the last six contests. Taylor has set career-highs with 136 receptions for 1,523 yards and 41 touchdowns in 2015.
Fans had 24 hours to vote for the AFL MVP award on ArenaFootball.com. Taylor earned 48.1 percent of the fan vote, beating out fellow candidates V'Keon Lacey of the Portland Thunder and Maurice Purify of the San Jose SaberCats.
