Tavares named Overall Player of the Week

John Tavares of the Buffalo Bandits was named the Overall Player of the Week for Week #6. Tavares scored four goals and added four assists in the Bandits 18-10 road win over the Philadelphia Wings on Saturday.
Shawn Williams of the Rochester Knighthawks was named the Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Rochester's 11-10 win over Toronto. Williams scored five goals, including the game winner, and added one assist in the Knighthawks win.
Curtis Palidwor of the Calgary Roughnecks was named the Defensive Player of the week for his performance in goal in the Roughnecks' back-to-back wins over Colorado and Arizona this weekend.
Steve Hoar of the Rochester Knighthawks was named the Rookie of the Week for his performance in the Kighthawks' 11-10 win over Toronto. Hoar scored one goal and added one assist (1g, 1a, 2pts) and won 10 out of 21 in faceoffs in Rochester's win.

Shawn Williams (Rochester) scored five goals including the game winner and added one assist (5g, 1a, 6pts) in an 11-10 victory over Toronto.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Curtis Palidwor (Calgary) recorded back to back wins over Colorado and Arizona. Palidwor recorded 34 saves with 11 goals against in the 14-13 road win over Colorado and recorded 40 saves with 6 goals against in a 15-6 win at home over Arizona.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Steve Hoar (Rochester) scored one goal and added one assist (1g, 1a, 2pts) and won 10 out of 21 in faceoffs in a 11-10 win over Toronto
OVERALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
John Tavares (Buffalo) scored four goals and added four assists (4g, 4a, 8pts) in an 18-10 road win over Philadelphia.
