Tarkir And Dubuc Promoted To AHL

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach Cail MacLean announced today that defenseman Zach Tarkir and forward Michael Dubuc have been recalled by the Norfolk Admirals and Hershey Bears of the AHL.

Tarkir, 25, has four goals and 13 assists for 17 points in 30 games with the Stingrays. The Fresno, CA native recently skated in seven games with the Springfield Falcons of the AHL earning one assist and two penalty minutes. The 2010 ECHL All-Star also competed in five games with the Lake Erie Monsters earlier this season scoring no points and two penalty minutes.

Dubuc, 21, currently has 13 goals and 14 assists in 34 games with the Stingrays. A native of Granby, PQ, Dubuc appeared in seven games for the Bears this season scoring three goals and two assists for five points.

The Stingrays return to North Charleston Coliseum Friday, February 12 at 7:05 p.m. against the Florida Everblades for $2 Beer Night and Haiti Relief Night with the American Red Cross.
