Tulsa, OK - The Tampa Bay Storm fell to the Tulsa Talons 69-58 in front of 6,688 fans at the BOK Center in Tulsa Saturday night. Two turnovers cost the Storm as the team lost the turnover battler with an interception and a fumble while the Talons did not commit a turnover.

Talons defensive back BJ Barre came up with an interception early in the fourth quarter thwarting Tampa Bay's attempt to bring the game within five points. Fellow Talons defensive back Andre Burns forced a fumble in the middle of the third quarter and the Talons capitalized with a touchdown pass from Justin Allgood to Donovan Morgan. Allgood threw for 274 yards on 26 completions with eight touchdowns. Morgan led all Talons receivers with nine receptions for 129 yards and four touchdowns.

Storm quarterback Brett Dietz finished the game with 346 yards on 25 completions and eight touchdowns. Receivers Tyrone Timmons and Hank Edwards each eclipsed 100 yards receiving. Timmons finished the game with five touchdown passes on 11 recptions and 181 yards, all career highs.

The Storm (0-1) fly home and enter the first bye week of the season, the team's next game is April 16 at 7:30 against the Dallas Vigilantes at the St. Pete Times Forum (1250 AM-WHNZ). Tulsa (1-0) hosts the Dallas Vigilantes in a key Southwest Division matchup. Kickoff at BOK Arena is set for 7:00 p.m. CST.
