Tulsa, OK- The Tulsa Talons of the arenafootball2 League and KTSO 94.1 will be holding "Kids Night" at their game this Saturday night against the Bakersfield Blitz. Children 14 and under can receive a regularly priced $9.00 ticket for only $5.00 at the door. Before the game, numerous activities for kids will be taking place in the lobby of the Tulsa Convention Center. Among the items that will be available are a Jupiter Jump, an inflatable Obstacle Course, face painters, and Whiskers the Clown. In addition to kids receiving discounted tickets, all groups of 15 or more can receive $5.00 tickets at the Talons office. The festivities will continue throughout the game, as Pepsi will give away a brand new bike, and mascots from the Tulsa Zoo and Broken Arrow Police Dept. will come onto the field at halftime to help celebrate Swoop's Birthday. Snow Cones and small popcorn have also been discounted, for the enjoyment of our little (& not so little) fans, each will be available for $1.00.

Beginning at 6:00 PM, as fans enter the Convention Center they will be greeted by the Tulsa and Broken Arrow Fire Departments "Smoke House", and from there...Visit and enjoy activities with---Tulsa City-County Libraries & Buddy Bookworm (make it-take it wristbands & book marks)...Make It Crafty (make it-take it beaded key chains)...Woodland Hills Mall (sign up for their b. day club)...94.1 KTSO (sign SWOOP's b.day card & register for prizes from Pepsi, Cinemark, and Celebration Station, also to be a participant in Swoop's on field 1/2 time b. day party!)...Digital Pictures in Talons Equipment ($3)...Broken Arrow Police Dept. (meet Larry & Vince The Crash Dummies, McGruff The Crime Dog, and Radar the remote control car)...Fingerprinting offered by the Woodsmen...Discovery Toys (play area for infants-12 years)...Laser Quest (have a laser duel)...WB 19 (have a tattoo put on, get a pencil and meet the WB frog)...Tulsa Fire Fighters Educational Clown & Burn Camp (Clowns will make & give children ‘spirit sticks' to cheer on the Talons)...Mad Science (make slime, check out dry ice & experience tornado tubes)...and much, much more!

The Talons (9-2) were defeated by the Blitz (5-6) last Saturday night 45-40 in Bakersfield and will be looking to rebound in this Saturday's re-match. With a victory, the Talons would increase their af2-record regular season home winning streak to 25 games and would clinch a National Conference playoff spot. It would mark the fourth time in the team's four-year existence that they qualified for postseason play.
