Austin, TX - The Austin Turfcats announced today that they have recently received sponsorship from the preferred lifestyle magazine in Central Texas.

Talk Around Town (www.talkaroundtown.net) will be known as the 'Official Lifestyle Magazine of the Austin Turfcats." The magazine will feature full color inside interviews on the Austin Turfcats on their pursuit of a Southern Indoor Football League title and other areas of local interest.

Talk Around Town is a Central Texas centric lifestyle magazine focused on businesses and activities along the I-35 Corridor and is a valuable source of information for new homeowners within that region. Talk Around Town covers and is distributed in five different counties (Comal, Guadalupe, Hays, Southern Travis and Northern Bexar) and is a great source for people to learn about the towns along the corridor as well as vehicle for businesses in San Antonio and Austin to reach this vibrant market.

"As a resident and a patron to local Corridor businesses, I saw a need to connect quality businesses with local homeowners, so I created an avenue to do so," says Karen Borell, the Founder/Publisher of Talk Around Town.

Along with being a die-hard football fan, Karen Borell is a passionate marketing professional that has worked in the publishing and marketing industries for over twenty years. She has worked for top organizations such as Knight-Ridder newspapers, Economist Magazine, ATT, Sprint and SW Bell Yellow Pages, Welcome Wagon, Valpak as well as many local and regional publications. She launched Talk Around Town in 2006.

Working with a fabulous power team that includes graphic designers, photo stylists, web designers and local quality businesses that provide editorial in their field of expertise, she is able to offer an overall marketing solution to all types of businesses.
