Quincy Gems vs: Hannibal Cavemen weekend Battle for the Paddle
Quincy 10-1 and Hannibal 8-2 lead the West division of the Prospect League. Quincy Gems would like to remind all their fans that Sunday, June 19th is Father's Day and everyone can take their Dad and family to the game for free by shopping with their max card at any Quincy County Market Store, as part of their Sunday Family Fun Nights at the Gems.
Quincy plays Hannibal in Quincy on Friday, game sponsored by Kohl's Wholesale Foods, then travel to Hannibal for the Saturday night game, and return to Quincy to play Hannibal in the third game of this series at home on Sunday for Father's Day sponsored by Rinella Company.
Tonight's game against Dubois County Bombers is the Gems first "Double Play Wednesday" of the season with General Admission 2 for the price of 1, and two 16oz. domestic draft for the price of one promotion.
Gems travel to Danville on Thursday to take on the Danville Dans.
Kids Day at the Ballpark
Next Monday, June 20th is Bank of Quincy and County Market's annual "Kids Day at the Ballpark" Children 12 and under are encourage to come enjoy a fun filled day with activities, games, face painting, hotdog lunch and more. Event starts at 10:30am and goes to 1:00pm. Daycare and groups are encouraged to attend, Children must be accompanied by an adult supervisor. Registration has been extended to this Friday, June 17th. Over 500 children attended the event last year. Registration forms are available on the Gems website www.quincygems.com.
