Season Ticket Holders - Debbie & John Bosse

You can find them in Section 28, and if you don't know them by sight, you'll definitely know them by sound! Debbie and John Bosse are standout season ticket holders, known in the past for winding up the fire engine siren when the guys take the ice or score goals. As a courtesy to sensitive ears nearby, the siren has only been out once this season, but everyone can agree with Debbie - it's a unique and "great motivator!"

The Bosses started with the MAINEiacs in the first season when friends were billeting a player, and they wanted to do the same. They have since billeted Brandon Roach, Brandon Verge, Peter Delmas, and the Chaput brothers (Stefan and Michael), not to mention several additional players for training camp. Several of you might remember a video tour of their home, when Peter and Stefan lived there. With a longer distance to work this year for Debbie, the Bosses are unable to billet, but they continue to be at the Colisee for the team and players. In addition to being giving, good people, it helps the Bosses are self-proclaimed "hockey nuts."

Debbie says it best: "We love and support hockey. We get to mingle with a lot of great people also. It's just nice to have a good hockey team in town." The friendships forged in the stands have been equally important as those made off the ice. The Chaput family, in particular, is an "absolutely wonderful family," with incredible hockey passion and involvement in their children's lives. "They appreciate those who have helped them in this area and continue to remain close friends."

Supporting and believing in our players has taken the Bosses to Canada on several road trips, including a loooong distance travel to St. John's, Newfoundland, "which is absolutely beautiful," says Debbie. Grateful to be part of the Maineiacs family, the Bosses will do anything for the team...

...including a repeat performance of an on-ice, name-that-tune contest! We'll look forward to that. The Maineiacs organization is grateful for the support of season ticket holders, and this week, hats off to Debbie & John Bosse.
