Tacoma Stars Goalkeeper Danny Waltman Named Player of the Week
Published on December 27, 2018 under Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) News Release
KANSAS CITY - The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today that Danny Waltman has been named the Player of the Week for Week Four of the 2018-2019 MASL Season. This is the first Player of the Week award for Waltman this season.
Danny Waltman's Tacoma Stars sit atop the Pacific Division standings thanks in no small part to his play in the nets. Waltman helped to lead his side in two games last weekend with some amazing saves and a .846 save percentage against San Diego, stopping all but 4 of the 26 shots he faced. Then the next day he stopped another 16 shots from the Ontario Fury for a 2-0 Stars weekend
The Tacoma Stars are spending the Holiday Weekend resting at home but will be back in action with two games in Week Six. They head to Texas for games against the El Paso Coyotes (Jan 4, 9:15 p.m. ET) and the RGV Barracudas (Jan 6, 6:35 p.m. ET).
There are eight games remaining in Week Five of the MASL season. All of them can be seen live on MASLtv at MASLsoccer.com.
