
SWB Yankees and Syracuse Chiefs will try again Wednesday

Syracuse, NY - Rain postponed the second game of the four game series between the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees and the Syracuse Chiefs on Tuesday night from Alliance Bank Stadium in Syracuse, New York. The game will be made up as part of a double header on Wednesday night, May 27th with two seven inning games starting at 5:00 p.m.
RHP George Kontos (2-1, 2.45 ERA) will get the start for the Yankees in game one of the double header. In the second game of the twin bill, RHP Josh Towers (0-2, 3.79) will get the starting nod. The Chiefs will counter with right hander J.D. Martin (4-2, 3.13) in game one and RHP Collin Balester(1-5, 4.91) in the game two.
Both games will be carried live on The Game Sports Radio Network (1280 AM, 1340 AM, 1400 AM, & 1590 AM) beginning with the pre game show at 4:55 PM.
