
SWB Yankees and Norfolk Rain Out

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees News Release
Norfolk, VA - Heavy rains have postponed the third game of the four game series between the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees and the Norfolk Tides on Wednesday night at Harbor Park in Norfolk, Virginia. The game will be made up as part of a double header on Thursday afternoon with two seven inning games starting at 12:15 p.m.
RHP Romulo Sanchez (4-3, 4.23 ERA) will get the start for the Yankees in game one of the double header. In the second game of the twin bill, RHP Ivan Nova (1-2, 4.99) is expected to come off the DL and is slated to get the starting nod. The Tides will counter with left hander Chris Waters (9-5, 4.56) in game one and RHP Jake Arrieta (4-5, 4.74) in game two.
Both games will be carried live on The Game Sports Radio Network (1280 AM, 1340 AM, 1400 AM, & 1590 AM) beginning with the pre game show at 11:45 AM.
