Louisiana Swashbucklers News Release
LAKE CHARLES - The Louisiana Swashbucklers are looking for a few talented young ladies who will lead the fans and cheer the Swashbucklers to victory throughout the 2007 season of intense football. President, Thom Hager said, "Last year I was so happy to see the talent we have right here in our own backyard. The spirit of our 2006 FirstMates will be tough to beat."
The first order of business was to find a new director who can take the FirstMates cheerleaders to the next level of professionalism. Hager found Krislyn Stampley who has an extensive background in All-Star cheerleading and has already set her sights on competitions for the FirstMates. Stampley cheered for McNeese State University and since graduation, just can't get it out of her blood! After accepting the position as Director of the FirstMates, Krislyn immediately got to work and set practice schedules through the entire 2007 season.
Tryouts are set for January 7th and February 10th at Guzzy's Gym in Lake Charles. For more information on tryouts, call the Swashbucklers' office or e-mail Krislyn at Kstampley@labucs.com.
For information on season tickets, call the Swashbucklers' office Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM at 310-PASS (7277). Scaramouche!
