Mississippi Surge News Release
Head East: The Mississippi Surge play three games in the eastern time zone this week, facing the Knoxville Ice Bears, Friday (6:35 p.m.central time) and the Fayetteville FireAntz Saturday (6:30 central time) and Sunday (3 p.m. central time)
Working OT: The Surge lost two overtime games last week, to Knoxville, 4-3 and 3-2. Dramatic finishes have been the rule as the Surge has had three straight games go into overtime.
In The Pink: January 20th will be the next home game for the Surge, which will be the annual Pink in the Rink to benefit the Pink Heart funds. Surge players will wear special pink jerseys that will be auctioned after the game in the Camelia Ballroom of Beau Rivage Resort and Casino. Pink in the rink is presented in cooperation with Beau Rivage and Garden Park Medical Center.
