Super Bowl Champion at Huntington Heroes Game

A familiar face will return to Huntington Saturday as Troy Brown takes to the field at the Huntington Heroes game for the inaugural coin toss.

Brown who is a wide receiver for the New England Patriots and former Marshall stand out will be in the field house to watch the action unfold.

Brown's career highlights include helping the Patriots earn three Super Bowl title rings and being featured in the Pro Bowl after the 2001 NFL season. Brown has also acquired stellar statistics for the Patriots including 418 career receptions, being the first Patriot to ever earn three 80-catch seasons and ranking fifth on the all-time highest yardage for New England.

"It's an honor to have someone such as Troy Brown return to the Marshall community and lend his support to the Huntington Heroes," Garry McPeek, Huntington Heroes head coach, said.

The Huntington Heroes will hit the turf and match up against the Miami Valley Silverbacks 7 p.m. Saturday at the Veterans Memorial Field House. For further questions or ticket information contact the field house at (304) 781-6800.
