PITTSFIELD, MA (November 11, 2014) - The Pittsfield Suns are pleased to announce the 2015 Hot Stove with special guest Ben Cherington, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Boston Red Sox.
Following the hugely popular inaugural event in 2014, the Suns will welcome one of the top executives in Major League Baseball to headline what has quickly become the premier winter baseball event in the Berkshires. As a three-time World Series champion and recipient of the 2013 MLB Executive of the Year Award, Cherington brings a truly unique perspective on the sport and it's importance throughout New England.
"After the success of last year's Hot Stove, we are thrilled to return to the Colonial Theatre with another marquee guest," said Kevin McGuire, Suns General Manager. "Throughout the year, we solicited input from our fans regarding the type of guest they'd like to hear from, and overwhelmingly were asked to provide a Red Sox theme. Well, with the outstanding support from both our corporate sponsors and spectacular fan base, we were able to go right to the top. The Suns are thrilled to welcome Ben to the Berkshires."

While Ben may have worn his Suns hat during the championship parade in 2013, we will allow him to wear his proverbial Red Sox hat for this event, providing insight into his role as General Manager and what lies ahead for the 2015 season and beyond."
The 2015 Pittsfield Suns Hot Stove will take place on Friday, February 6 at the Historical Colonial Theatre, located on South St. in Downtown Pittsfield. Tickets are on sale now. VIP Packages are $95 and include premium floor level seating, an autographed MLB Baseball from Cherington, a 90-minute cocktail hour, and a $10 ticket voucher for the Suns 2015 season.
