The Nashua Silver Knights (24-19) beat the Pittsfield Suns (24-19) 7-5 in seven innings on Tuesday at Holman Stadium behind Cameron DiSarcina, who drove in three runs.
Luke Reynolds led the Pittsfield Suns' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning.
Cody Gilchrist improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Nashua Silver Knights. Gilchrist struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.
Nate Spielvogel ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
