May 31, 2003 - Continental Basketball Association 2 (CBA 2)
Great Lakes Storm News Release
Tonight's game against the Delmarva (MD) Shorebirds was postponed due to rain and field conditions. Tonight's game will be made up as part of a doubleheader starting tomorrow at 1:35 pm. As is customary, doubleheaders in the South Atlantic League consist of two seven-inning ballgames, and one ticket gains fans admission to both games. Tickets from tonight's ballgame will be good for admission to any 2003 Suns regular season game.
The Suns are playing the best baseball in the South Atlantic League, having won twelve of their last fourteen, and the promotional calendar is still red-hot with a Monday Education Day game (10:35 am start), Thirsty Thursday, and Friday Night Fireworks.
The Hagerstown Suns, of the South Atlantic League, are the Class A affiliate of the National League Champion San Francisco Giants. The Suns are in town through June 6th, and the home season runs through August 24th. Ticket packages and sponsorships are available by calling 301/791-6266.
