
Sundogs Resign Goaltender David Brown

Prescott Valley, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs announced today they resigned goaltender David Brown for their 2013-14, Central Hockey League Season.
Brown 28, returns to the Arizona Sundogs after having played one of his best seasons with the team last year. He made team history on March 23, 2013 recording his second consecutive shutout against the Fort Worth Brahmas, pushing the team to the playoffs. Last season the 6-foot, Ontario native recorded a 15-15-1 record in 31 games and registered a 2.69 goals-against-average (GAA) and a 0.910 save percentage.
"He is a great pro both on and off the ice and we feel he can take us to the top this year", said Kevin Colley, Sundogs Head Coach.
Brown started his rookie season in 2007-2008 with the Wheeling Nailers of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) playing in 13 games before being called up to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League (AHL) where he finished the season. Brown spent the next 2 seasons in the ECHL before heading to the Quad City Mallards of the CHL. In 2010-2011 while skating with Quad City he recorded a 17-16-1 in 37 games with a 2.33 GAA and a save percent of 0.930. He continued his tenure in Quad City during the 2011-12 season with a 14-10-1 in 26 games, a 2.86 GAA and 0.907 save percent.
