Arizona Sundogs News Release
- The Arizona Sundogs opened its second training camp Monday at Tim's Toyota Center with 24 skaters including two goalies. The Sundogs will continue training camp on-ice sessions through Thursday before taking to the ice for two preseason exhibition games against the ECHL's Phoenix RoadRunners in the 'Battle of the Desert' on Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13 at Tim's Toyota Center. The Sundogs will then resume training camp on-ice sessions on Sunday, October 14. All training camp sessions are open to the public. Ice sessions begin at 9:30am and fans are asked to enter through the Sundogs Team Store in the northwest corner of Tim's Toyota Center.
- Lee Svangstu will join the Sundogs for training camp Tuesday morning bringing the training camp roster to 25 total skaters. The 6'5", 230-pound Crosby, North Dakota native skated with Head Coach/General Manager Marco Pietroniro in the late-'90s with the Idaho Steelheads.
- The second Marco Pietroniro Coach's Show takes place tonight, Tuesday, October 9 at Augie's Place in the Prescott Valley Entertainment District. Player guest Chris Greene will join Head Coach/General Manager Marco Pietroniro and Sundogs radio broadcaster Robby Incmikoski at 7:00pm to preview the Sundogs 2007 training camp and upcoming preseason games.
- On Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13 the Arizona Sundogs will take on the ECHL's Phoenix RoadRunners in the 'Battle of the Desert' at Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley. Both game times are slated for 7:05pm starts. In their brief history, the Sundogs are 2-0-0 in exhibition games, beating the Colorado Eagles in twice in OT in Colorado prior to the 2006-07 season. This marks the first time the Sundogs will take on a team outside the Central Hockey League. - On Monday, October 15 the Arizona Sundogs Hockey Club will hold its second-annual Sundogs Golf Classic presented by Golf Etc. The golf tournament is being held at StoneRidge Golf Course in Prescott Valley and will begin at 9:00am. Proceeds benefit the Arizona Sundogs Foundation.

Tuesday, October 9, 6:00-8:00pm: Sundogs forward Chris Greene and Head Coach/General Manager Marco Pietroniro will be at Augie's Place in the Prescott Valley Entertainment District for the Marco Pietroniro Coach's Show.
