
Sundogs Drop Game Two against Thunder, Final 3-0

Prescott Valley, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs dropped game two against the Wichita Thunder Saturday night at the Intrust Bank Arena and Torrie Jung shut out Arizona, final 3-0.
Both teams remained scoreless heading into the final period. Ian Lowe scored on the power play giving Wichita the advantage they needed after Jeff Kyrzakos was given two minutes for cross checking. Matt Summers scored 7:24 later on a breakaway, extending the Thunder's lead. Wichita closed out the night with an empty net goal after Arizona pulled goalie David Brown for the extra attacker.
Brown took the loss for the Sundogs making 30 saves on net. Arizona was outshot 30-11. The Sundogs were 0-4 on the power play and the Thunder were 1-5 on power play. The Sundogs and Thunder return to Prescott Valley for games three and four in the first round of the playoffs.
