Sundogs Announce Preseason Games at Rapid City October 9 and 10

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League, in conjunction with the Rapid City Rush, today announced they will play a pair of preseason contests against the defending Ray Miron Presidents' Cup Champions on Saturday, Oct. 9 and Sunday, Oct. 10 at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Both exhibition games will be broadcast live on KDDL 'Cattle Country' 94.3 FM, the Official Radio Home of Arizona Sundogs Hockey. Saturday's game is set for a 6:05pm (Arizona time) start while Sunday's game is slated for a 5:05pm (Arizona time) puck-drop. Fans can also listen online at www.cattlecountryradio.com.
"We're looking forward to taking the ice against the Rapid City Rush in conjunction with our training camp in early-October," said Arizona Sundogs Head Coach and General Manager Marco Pietroniro. "Preseason games provide an excellent opportunity to evaluate players in real-game situations prior to making final player selections and to do so against the defending champion Rush will offer our club a very good team to compete against."
The exhibition games will mark the first-ever preseason meetings between the two franchises. Arizona is 4-2-1 all-time in preseason games.
