Rush Announce Preseason Games; Will Host Arizona Sundogs October 9th & 10th

(Rapid City, SD) - The Rapid City Rush is proud to announce that it will host a pair of preseason games in preparation for the 2010-11 regular season. The Rush will host the Arizona Sundogs on both Saturday, October 9th at 7:05pm and Sunday, October 10th at 6:05pm at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Ice Arena.
"We are very excited to be hosting the Sundogs for our preseason contests," said Rush general manager Tim Hill. "These games will give Joe [Ferras] and Mark [DeSantis] a great opportunity to evaluate talent and make the final decisions concerning the roster. It will also give the fans a chance to see some great hockey with players laying it all on the line as they battle for limited roster spots."
Ticket information for the preseason contests will be announced next week.
This is the second year that the Rush play host to preseason contests. Last season, the Rush played the Amarillo Gorillas for a pair of preseason games at the RPCC.
