
Strong Island Sound announce 2006 tryout camp

Patchogue, NY -- The ABA's Strong Island Sound are seeking talented basketball players to fill key positions on their veteran team for the upcoming 2006-2007 season. The Sound will be holding two tryout camps the first on August 28th and 29th, 7:00 PM- 10PM and the second on September 23rd and 24th. Both camps will be held at the Island Garden Basketball Arena in West Hempstead, NY. The Sound organization is aware of the abundance of basketball talent in the New York area and we are looking for the best and brightest players to join us for the upcoming season.
The Island Garden Basketball Arena is located at 45 Cherry Valley Road, West Hempstead, NY. The team encourages applicants to pre-register online at the cost of $100.00 to guarantee your spot in the camp. Registration on the day of camp is $125.00 and admission is on a space-available basis (cash, cashiers check, or money order only onsite NO CREDIT CARDS).
