Strikers Announce Ticket Sales

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Fort Lauderdale Strikers have announced the release of North Stand Sideline tickets after selling out the South Side reserved seating area for Sunday's match against Brazilian side Cruzeiro Esporte Clube at historic Lockhart Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
"We are very happy with the level of fan excitement we have seen grow for this game and for our team," said Strikers' President Tom Mulroy. "Between the growing Strikers fan base and the local Cruzeiro fans we expect a great atmosphere at the stadium. We look forward to welcoming Cruzeiro fans and hopefully turning them into Fort Lauderdale Strikers fans as well."
Tickets for the North Stand Sideline area are $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the game. Discounts are available for groups by calling the Strikers Ticket Office at 954-606-0400. General Admission tickets on the East and West sides of Lockhart Stadium are still available for $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the game.

Cruzeiro play in the top level of Brazilian soccer and are one of only five teams to never have been relegated from Brazil's top division. Today, Cruzeiro boasts some of the top talent in Brazil, including Dagoberto, Dedé and Tinga, with the later two players having made appearances for the senior Brazilian national team.
The match comes one week before the final home game of the Spring championship season for the Strikers against the San Antonio Scorpions on June 29. Cruzeiro will remain in the U.S. as they follow up their match against the Strikers by traveling to Chicago to face Monarcas Morelia from Mexico on June 28.
